Nitto Tire Safety Recall

Updated: Nov 20

This notice is provided to inform you of a voluntary safety recall issued by Nitto Tire that may affect the tires on your vehicle.

Why is this happening? Nitto has identified a potential manufacturing issue where specific tires may experience belt package separation. This could lead to a loss of vehicle control and increased risk of a crash. Your safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure your vehicle is safe to drive.

Which tires are affected? The recall involves specific sizes and production dates for the following tire models. Only specified batches (determined by DOT number) are affected.

What you need to do: Please check the DOT Tire Identification Number (TIN) on the sidewall of your tires (including your spare).

  1. Locate the DOT Number: Look for the letters "DOT" on the sidewall. The identification number follows this symbol (see Attachment 2 below if you need help locating your tire's DOT number).

  2. Compare: Compare your DOT number with the "Full DOT" column in the list above.

  3. Contact Us: If your DOT number matches any of the DOT numbers listed, or if you are unsure how to check, please contact us.

If your tire's DOT number is not included on this list, your tire is not under recall, and no further action is needed.

If your tires are part of this recall, we will replace them free of charge. This includes mounting and balancing. Call us at 512-918-2345, or reply to the text message or email you received from us.

Please note that Nitto's recall campaign will expire on June 20, 2026. Affected tires must be scheduled for replacement prior to this date.
