If you need a tire repair or replacement within 15 miles of our location, call us (Mon - Fri 9 AM - 6 PM CT). Outside of this area or business hours, choose your own facility. We'll reimburse you in accordance with your TPP Agreement.

Need To File A Claim?

Whether you’re in the Austin area or across the country, filing a claim is easy – click the Claim Form link below to get started.

You'll need your TPP Agreement and any invoices for reimbursement. Also, you should keep the damaged tire until your claim is settled.

Important Terms

  • TPP provides tire repair and replacement coverage for the following types of incidents:

  • Road Hazard Damage: Tire damage caused by road hazards, such as punctures, cuts, bruises, and impacts with potholes or debris in the roadway.

  • Manufacturer Defects: Tire defects in materials or workmanship.

  • Within the first 12 months or 12,000 miles we will cover 100% of the cost of the replacement tire up to the original purchase price of the tire (as indicated on the original invoice). Note that charges for mounting & balancing and other fees (e.g. TPMS transfer, tire disposal) are still the responsibility of the customer.

  • After the first 12 months or 12,000 miles and prior to the end of the Term we will pay for the replacement tire, minus the cost attributed to the consumed usable treadwear of the original tire. This amount is calculated on a pro-rated basis against the price of the original tire (see the Prorated Coverage Formula).

  • If tire damage occurs within a 15 mile driving distance of our location during business hours, the customer must contact or return to our location for assistance. If tire damage occurs in excess of 15 miles of our location or outside of business hours, the customer has the option to complete the tire repair/replacement at a tire shop or automotive business of their choice.

  • If a tire can be safely repaired, it must be repaired. We will not pay for a replacement tire if it is deemed that the covered tire could have been safely repaired. Generally, if a puncture is ¼” in diameter or less, and/or is located within the tread area, repair can be safely accomplished. If a puncture exceeds ¼” in diameter, and/or is located on the sidewall or shoulder of the tire, the tire must be replaced.

  • Reimbursement for roadside assistance and towing is offered for up to 2 incidents over the term. Covered incidents include flat/damaged tires, dead batteries, low fluids, and lockouts The customer is free to use the company of their choice for roadside assistance or towing. No company is prescribed or required.

  • The TPP Agreement contains limitations and maximum payouts. See this document for details.

  • Important exclusions, limitations, and additional terms & conditions apply. For example, TPP coverage is not available for commercial vehicles, ride-share vehicles, vehicles used for construction or landscaping purposes, trailers, motorcycles, busses, vehicles rated over 1-Ton (e.g. F-450+), Class A and C Recreational Vehicles (RVs), and off-road vehicles (e.g. ATV, UTV, SxS). Damage caused by overloading, misuse, negligence, racing, commercial use, vandalism, theft, fire, or collision is not covered by TPP. TPP is only available for Passenger (P) and Light Truck (LT) tires. This list of exclusions and limitations is not comprehensive. See your TPP Agreement for full terms of TPP coverage, including additonal exclusions and limitations.

Prorated Coverage Formula

  • After the first 12 months/12,000 miles and prior to the end of the 48 month term, the cost of the replacement tire will be prorated based upon the remaining usable life of the original tire.

  • TPP will pay for the replacement tire, minus the cost attributed to the consumed usable treadwear of the original tire. This amount is calculated on a pro-rated basis against the price of the original tire.

  • "Usable" tread is tread above 2/32". When tread is worn to 2/32" or below, the tire is considered worn and no longer covered by TPP.

  • TPP Coverage Formula:

Prorated Coverage Formula

Original Tread Depth should be obtained from the tire manufacturer's specifications. This number is reported as "X" / 32nds of an inch.

‍Current Tread Depth is determined by measuring the lowest portion of tread depth of the tire. This number is reported as "X" / 32nds of an inch.

Note that Usable Tread Depth is any amount above 2/32". Thus, 2/32" should be subtracted from the Original Tread Depth and Current Tread Depth before completing any calculations for pro-rated tire cost.
